The Weyburn Senior Beavers had a thrilling final inning 4-3 win over the Moose Jaw Miller Express during a Father’s Day home game on Sunday.

June 17th – The Weyburn Police Service received a report of a theft of a truck. The complainant advised that they had left their truck parked on a street in the East of Weyburn, and when they returned the vehicle was gone.

The Weyburn Credit Union will be marking the end of the school year and the beginning of summer holidays with their annual community appreciation event on Thursday, June 29.

The Weyburn Airport board hosted family members of the late George Steer as they dedicated the new security gate for the airport in his memory, and the memory of former airport manager Tom Kerr.

Two new names are inducted into the Walk of Fame, during a ceremony held outside the Weyburn City Hall on Saturday. At left, Pat Dorsch represents her husband Hank Dorsch, who was posthumously inducted into the Athletics and Recreation category.

June’s public offering of Crown petroleum and natural gas rights raised $22.8 million on June 6, the largest revenue for a single offering in almost three years by the province.

The Weyburn Multiple 4-H Club has been busy over the past few months, both in their projects and as a club. As a club, members have been involved with several events, and several more are being planned.
