Yorkton's 32nd annual Sunflower Arts & Craft Sale event was another success, attracting exhibitors from across the Western provinces and as a far as away as Ontario.

Every May, Yorkton hosts the longest-running film festival in North America, bringing the best of Canadian short film to the prairies. But year-round, audiences everywhere have the opportunity to view some of the best submissions from the festival.

RCMP in Canora are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding a missing person who was believed to have fallen into the Whitesand river. Members of the "F" division Underwater Recover Team were on site as of Wednesday morning.

To the Editor: It's great to see Premier Wall standing up for Saskatchewan's interests by expressing concern over the Potash Corp takeover bid by BHP Billiton Limited.

In spite of cold and high winds, a recent Big Brothers and Big Sisters Show and Shine event held at Wal Mart in Yorkton went ahead as planned, bringing together 35 entries.
