Entertainment to kick up a notch

The goal is to create an ongoing music scene in Yorkton and Saskat-chewan and if all goes as planned, local residents will no longer have a shortage of entertainment venues to enjoy.

Sunday, June 20, is Father's Day and all Yorkton and area dads are invited to the Western Development Museum to celebrate. In honor of the special day, all dads and their families are invited from 2-4 p.m.

The Music In the Parks Festival in Chicago, Il was a showcase for the Yorkton Regional High School's (YRHS) Music department. The bands took many awards during festival, which featured over 30 bands from throughout Canada and the USA.
