Canora’s power demands are soon to be met with new investments and construction in the Canora area.

The Saints Peter and Paul Ukrainian Catholic Women’s League celebrated its 70 th anniversary as an organization dedicated to community and spirituality.

Hunting has changed greatly in the past number of years with many more people using vehicles to help them with their success rate. Aside from trucks, hunters are now using ATVs, side-by-sides, amphibious vehicles and even horses.

A Kamsack entrepreneur, a Preeceville liquor store employee and a Co-op store in Canora have been selected to operate the liquor stores in those three communities.

The fall season has been very busy and eventful for staff and students at Invermay School. On October 11, the cross-country team competed at Cherrydale Golf Course.

A solemn gathering was held at the Ukrainian Heritage Museum to remember the loss of millions of Ukrainians. A commemoration of the Holodomor genocide of 1922 and 1923 was held on November 23 at the Ukrainian Heritage Museum.

Producers across the province are maintaining hope and optimism as many of them wrap of the harvest season and complete work for the year.
