A Kamsack woman, who for 36 years had operated a successful business on main street, celebrated her 100 th birthday on September 30.

That laughter-filled, traditional beginning to the Christmas season in Kamsack, known as the annual Kamsack Players’ dinner theatre, continues this year with Drinking Habits .

Kamsack has once again received four blooms in the annual Communities in Bloom provincial competition.

At 1:30 p.m. on October 5, Dr. Parveen Kumar saw his first patient as a Kamsack doctor, and the first patient he has seen as a full-fledged doctor in Canada. “Family practice is my passion,” Kumar said last week, prior to seeing his first patient.

A Kamsack district resident has been selected by the Saskatchewan Hockey Association (SHA) to be a member of the 2017 female U18 Team Saskatchewan final roster.
