A 61-year-old Yorkton businessman is facing charges of sexual assault involving two children under the age of 16.

A joyride through a farmer’s field near Kamsack ended in the worst possible way for a 22-year-old Keesekoose First Nations man approximately two weeks ago. Police say the young man died when the stolen car he was driving hit a dry ravine.

A 39-year-old Yorkton man has been charged under the Explosives Act and Criminal Code after Police found a large quantity of explosives and other stolen property at the man’s residence.

Police are seeking information on the whereabouts of a fugitive from the law. William Crawford is currently wanted on charges of dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, flight from police and failing to comply with an undertaking.
