The $100,000 Grand Prize winners of the 2011 Health Foundation Cash Lottery were mother and daughter Alice and Diane Hood of Yorkton. Alice Hood heard the news on June 24 and accepted the cheque last week. "I just couldn't believe it.

Weekend to try fishing fun

Saskatchewan's annual Free Fishing Weekend will be July 9 and 10. One weekend each year is designated where residents and visitors may fish in Saskatchewan without having to purchase a licence.
