New species, new name

A new bee species has been named after Royal Saskatchewan Museum (RSM) Curator of Invertebrate Zoology, Dr. Cory Sheffield.

Making way for medical centre

Yorkton Council amended the City's Zoning Bylaw at its regular meeting Monday to make way for a new medical centre and condominium complex. The new facility will be built at 16 and 20 Gladstone Avenue South.

Mosaic helps DU

The Mosaic Company announced yesterday it has donated to Ducks Unlimited Canada (DUC) in support of wetlands preservation in Saskatchewan and wetlands restoration projects in the areas where Mosaic operates.
