Council reduces meeting dates

There will be fewer Yorkton Council meetings in 2017 following a decision by Council at its regular meeting. Meeting will be held every three weeks moving forward in 2017, rather than every two weeks which has been the norm for a number of years.

Traffic Bylaw tabled yet again

Yorkton Council continues to refine amendments to the Traffic Bylaw which received first reading Nov. 21, 2016. The Bylaw had been back before Council Dec. 12, where after discussing a number of details it was tabled.

City accepts new fuel tender

Yorkton Council approved a tender for its gasoline and diesel for the next three years.
