Out-of-scope wage considerations

City Administration was suggesting an immediate raise for the City’s Out-of-Scope employees. But Yorkton Council weren’t ready to rubber stamp the raises until such time the City has a new deal with its Canadian Union of Public Employees members.

Yorkton Council unanimously voted to declare September as Big Brothers Big Sisters Month in the city. The request was made by Big Brothers Big Sisters of Yorkton and Area at the regular meeting of Yorkton Council Monday.
