The Preeceville Panthers senior football team recorded its first win of the season against Davidson on September 14. The final score was 36-22. The Panthers started out slow with a few fumbles, said Jeremy Mattison, defence coach.

The money from the now-disbanded Kamsack Senior Flyers that was donated to Kamsack Minor Hockey is allowing young hockey players to attend a hockey development camp at half the amount it would otherwise cost.

Saturday morning saw a group of local cheerleaders come together to celebrate the U.S All Star Federation’s National All Star Cheer and Dance Day. The idea of the day is to unite cheerleading programs all across the U.S.
