United girls claim Provincial title
The Yorkton United girlss U18/16 team captured gold at the Saskatchewan Soccer Provincial Championships in Lloydminster on June 26-28. The first game of the Championships was against Battlefords. Yorkton came out strong with a 4-0 victory.

Rhein Sports Days celebrate 105 years
The 105th annual Rhein Sports Day is in the books. Saturday kicked off with a six-team Mosquito baseball tournament. Tournament organizer Kirbey Stewart stated that five Yorkton teams and one team from Canora took part.
