The YRHS Lady Raiders senior girls’ basketball team wrapped up their 2014/15 campaign this past weekend with a pair of losses in the 5A Girls South Regional Championship at Regina’s Campbell Collegiate, falling to the top ranked Campbell Tartans 97-3

Three Yorkton cheerleading teams – the Youth Gridders, Senior Gridders and YRHS Raiders – travelled to Moose Jaw Saturday, March 21 for the ninth annual Saskatchewan Provincial Cheerleading Competition at the Moose Jaw Yara Centre.

The Yorkton Blitz 17U girls’ volleyball team took part in the third Sask Cup of the year in Saskatoon this weekend. The team began the tournament in Division Two which consisted of 24 teams.

Clark Hoffman was flying high heading into the 2015 SHSAA Provincial Wrestling Tournament at the University of Regina March 13-14 after posting a 3-1 record at the 2015 Regional tournament in Warman on March 7 en route to a bronze medal.

The YRHS Lady Raiders senior girls’ basketball team welcomed three other teams – Notre Dame Hounds, Estevan Elecs and Weyburn Eagles - to Yorkton this past weekend for the 2015 SHSAA South Conference tournament.

The YRHS Raiders senior boys’ basketball team made the long journey south to Estevan on Friday, March 13, to take part in the SHSAA 5A South Conference tournament.
