One win in two road games is usually not seen as a success for the Yorkton RawTec Maulers players and coaching staff.

The Yorkton Kinsmen Terriers of the SSMHL Midget Division took to the road for a pair of games this past weekend in the hopes of improving their 9-7-2 record.

The Yorkton Terriers won a pair of Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League games on the week and now sit tied with Estevan at the bottom of the Viterra Division, each with 21-points. Yorkton's record is 9-14-1-2.

This past Saturday saw the YRHS and SHHS curling teams take to the curling sheets at the Yorkton Curling Club in preparation for the 2014/15 High School curling season.

The Yorkton UCT Bantam Terriers took to the road this past weekend for a pair of games, one in Arcola against Estevan on Saturday and the other in Weyburn on Sunday, expecting nothing but a pair of victories.

The Parkland Lions continued their dominance of the South Sask. Female Hockey League bantam division this past weekend, first defeating the Regina Tigers 7-2 before shutting out the second place Swift Current Colts 9-0 in Churchbridge.

Nearly a month had passed since the Yorkton Sherring Gold Terriers of the SSMHL Peewee Division last took to the ice for a regular season game, most recently defeating the rival Melville Millionaires 5-2 back on October 23.

It was a tough weekend for the Yorkton Kinsmen Terriers of the SSMHL Midget Division as they lost three straight games in three straight days, dropping a 6-2 decision to the Prairie Storm on Friday before falling 2-1 to the first place Regina Capital

Seven members of the Skate Yorkton figure skating club recently attended the Saskatchewan Provincial competition (Skate Canada Saskatchewan Sectionals) held at Melville's Horizon Credit Union Centre from November 14-16.
