Preeceville School students and staff members held their annual Terry Fox Run on September 25. They were accompanied by a few parents who enjoyed a walk in the summer temperatures.

Community members were treated to a special evening of sampling foods representing many countries during the Preeceville and District Heritage Museum ethnic dessert evening held at the Preeceville Club 60 on September 25.

The Preeceville Skating Arena is scheduled to house numerous hockey teams in the Preeceville Minor Hockey Association and serve the Preeceville Figure Skating Club; as well as overseeing general skates.

A former Melville resident who is a Greystone Scholar at the University of Saskatchewan and who because of her community involvement and academic excellence was accepted into the University of Oxford in England, is the Liberal candidate for the Yorkt
