Yorkton This Week

KARAPITA - It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Adolph "Lornie" Karapita on October 13, 2017. He passed away at home after a lengthy illness. Adolph was born in the Sheho district on March 3, 1940.

TODISCHUK - Mr. Al Todosichuk of the Kamsack district, beloved husband of Carol, passed away suddenly on October 18, 2017. He was 77 years of age. Alfred "Al" Albert Todosichuk was born June 27, 1940 in the Stornoway district of Saskatchewan.

LUTZ - Kevin George Lutz passed away suddenly in his home in Yorkton, SK on October 13, 2017. He was 55 years of age. Kevin was born on July 5, 1962 at Yorkton, SK, the eldest son of George and Shirley Lutz.

UNCHULENKO - It is with great pride that we pay tribute to our mother, grandmother and great-grandmother Dora Unchulenko. Dora passed away peacefully on Saturday, Oct. 14, 2017 at the age of 92 at the Esterhazy Centennial Special Care Home.

COTE - Mr. Joseph Cote, "Lil Joe", of Yorkton, passed away October 7, 2017 at Yorkton Regional Health Centre at the age of 70 years.

YASINSKY - Norman Yasinsky, beloved husband of Eleanor of Yorkton, passed away on Saturday, October 14, 2017 at Orkney House, Yorkton & District Nursing Home. He was 84 years of age.

JURICK - Joseph George Jurick. February 22, 1929 - October 12, 2017. Joe was born to Josef and Mary (Kurucz) Jurick on February 22, 1929 at the family farm near Zeneta.

OLSON - Kenneth Ivor. November 8, 1925 - October 5, 2017. It is with great sadness that Ken's family announce his passing October 5, 2017 at the age of 91.

PIDSKALNY - Fr. Peter John Pidskalny, C.Ss.R. July 27, 1945 - October 15, 2017. Fr. Peter Pidskalny, C.Ss.R. peacefully reposed in the Lord on October 15, 2017 at St. Joseph's Home in Saskatoon after a brief but courageous battle with cancer.
