Yorkton’s high schools both have increased security during the last month of classes.

Lawana Dawn Kosedy. February 17, 1954 - May 27, 2017. Lawana Dawn Kosedy died peacefully at the Regina General Hospital in Regina, SK on Saturday, May 27, 2017 from complications following an emergency surgery. She was 63 years of age.

Wade Scott Britton passed away suddenly on June 14, 2017. Wade was born on February 27, 1966 in Yorkton, SK. He was the third youngest of five children born to Jack and Lillian Britton.

William Bodnaryk of Yorkton and formerly of Theodore passed away at the Yorkton Regional Health Centre on June 10, 2017 with his family by his bedside following a brief illness. William was 89 years of age.

Mr. John Zazula of Yorkton, formerly of Invermay and the Hendon district, beloved husband of the late Frances Zazula, entered eternal life on June 9, 2017 at the Yorkton District Nursing Home.

Nolan Michael Ryan. Our incredible journey has come to an end and it is with profound sadness we announce the unexpected passing of our hero, Nolan, on June 7, 2017.
