Yorkton This Week

I'm going to do something this week that most people who read this column and even many who know me personally might not expect. I am going to defend religion, or rather, the right of individual people to observe their religious imperatives.

It is with great sadness the family of Fred Baziuk announce his passing on August 22, 2013 at the Yorkton & District Nursing Home. He was 97 years of age.

Shirley Westerhaug passed away peacefully with her loving daughter by her side, Saturday, August 17, 2013 at the Royal University Hospital in Saskatoon, SK. She was 69 years of age.

Mr. Paul Rodych of Yorkton, formerly of the Parkerview district, beloved husband of Margaret, passed away peacefully with his family at his bedside at Royal University Hospital in Saskatoon on Sunday, August 18, 2013.
