Mary Theresa (nee Chillog) Molnar, passed away peacefully on August 12, 2013 at the Yorkton Regional Health Centre, Yorkton, SK. She was 96 years of age.

Kelly Marie Tretiak (nee Rocke), beloved wife of Curtis, passed away peacefully with family by her side on August 6, 2013 at the Yorkton Regional Health Centre, Yorkton, SK.

Yorkton Council continued the process Monday toward a subdivision on the former C.J. Houston school property. Council previously granted approval to a subdivision on the CJ Houston lands adjacent to Wellington Avenue and Darlington Street West.

Margaret "Belle" Thorvaldson of the Saltcoats and Bredenbury Districts passed away Thursday, August 8, 2013, following a long courageous battle with Alzheimers. She was 82 years of age.

A drug operation by Melville RCMP, Ituna RCMP, South East Regional Traffic Services and RCMP Police Dog Services has resulted in four arrests including a 32-year-old man from Yorkton.
