Ronald James Sharpe, January 30, 1945 - July 5, 2012. Ron passed away peacefully at the Yorkton Regional Health Centre on July 5 at the age of 67 years. Ron was born in Yorkton and was raised on the family farm in the Rokeby district.

U14 Core Real Estate at Summerfest

The Yorkton United U14 Core Real Estate Fury soccer team travelled to Regina this weekend (July 6-8) to compete in the annual A.C.F.C. Summerfest soccer tournament.

Mr. Allan Stumph of Yorkton, beloved husband of Audrey passed away peacefully at his home on July 1, 2012 with his loving wife by his side. Allan Kenneth Stumph was born on September 11, 1942, to Alex and Mary Stumph.

Only one paving tender

Yorkton Council has approved a tender for the 2012 Asphalt Paving Program. "This is an annual program that deals with paving of various areas in the city," explained Joshua Mickleborough, Engineering Manager with the City.
