Yorkton This Week

Yorkton played in Canora last Wednesday night to close out the Supers' regular season. Canora belted a home run early on but Yorkton responded with a pair of runs to earn a 2-1 victory at the Al Sapieha Field Wednesday night.

Mr. David Jakubowski of Yorkton, beloved husband of Darlene passed away the morning of Friday, June 29, 2012 at the Regina General Hospital at the age of 69 years.

On June 15, 2012, Mary Jean Zahaik passed away peacefully with her son, Tony and daughter, Shirley at her side. She was 98 years old. Jean was born on August 11, 1913 in St. Norbert, MB, the daughter of Andrew and Helen Soroski.
