The lacrosse Bulldogs pulled off with their first win of the season Sunday afternoon at Yorkton Kinsmen Arena. They played two games in Prairie Gold Lacrosse League (PGLL) action over the weekend.

Stock car schedule starts this weekend
The Parkland Racing Association Inc., has released its stock car race schedule for the summer season. There will be a total of seven race dates and one demo derby, scheduled for the final weekend on the schedule. All race dates start at 2 p.m.

Eva Cooper passed away peacefully on May 20, 2012 at the Regina General Hospital, Regina, SK. She was 89 years of age. Eva was born on March 28, 1923 in Hungary, the first of three born to Casper and Anna Haas.
