Visiting Mary Soltys over Thanksgiving long weekend was her daughter Donna and her husband Randy Flatt from Thompson, Manitoba. Also her granddaughter Terria and her husband Kevin Kitsch from Kansas, USA.

Good Spirit School Division Board of Education hosted its Fifth Annual Staff Appreciation Awards Gala dinner attended by approximately 200 people on Saturday, October 29, 2011 at the Gallagher Centre. Awards were presented to 92 employees.

The Yorkton Sno-Riders snowmobiling club is entering this season better equipped than ever before. Until now, the club has maintained its 500 km of snowmobile trails in the area with a set of used snow groomers.
