Yorkton This Week

Sacred Heart's senior boys' volleyball team competed at the Provincial 4A championship on Nov. 25-26 in Wilkie. The team advanced to provincials after taking second place at the Regional competition in Indian Head.

Dear Editor: Kudos to Yorkton This Week and Kathy Morrell for the editorial and the letter to the editor in the November 9, 2011 edition of Yorkton This Week regarding the preservation of the CBC. My thoughts mirror theirs.

Abuse of Older Adults Seniors deserve to live with dignity and respect. Abuse of older adults is an act or behaviour by anyone, including a caregiver, which results in harm to an older person's well-being or safety.

The annual Saint Barbara's Dinner by the 38 Canadian Brigade Artillery Tactical Group was held in Yorkton Saturday.

Yorkton's Salvation Army is still in need of volunteers to man its Christmas kettles around town throughout the month of December.

Each month a male and a female student is selected as the SHHS Saint of the Month. Saint of the Month students are nominated by staff and students of SHHS.
