Anne was born on March 6, 1924, daughter of Vendel and Mary (nee Hegyi) Molnar. She attended a one room school at West Otthon. Anne was united in marriage to Vince Chillog on October 25, 1943 at Holy Trinity Church in McKim.

The Yorkton Exhibition Association's annual Santa Claus Parade went down Broadway Avenue on Saturday evening. Windy but warmer than last year, the parade was well-attended by both participants and spectators. More than 40 floats were entered.

Lena Repay entered into eternal rest on November 14, 2011 at the Theodore Health Centre in Theodore, SK with her family by her side. She was 89 years of age.

Violence Awareness Week

Yorkton Council unanimously proclaimed Violence Awareness Week for Dec. 4 to Dec. 10 in the city. The request for the designation was made at the regular meeting of Yorkton Council Monday by the Yorkton Partnership Against Violence Committee.

Skateboard park needs votes
