With each Remembrance Day, it becomes more obvious. Few of the World War II veterans who once made the Royal Canadian Legion a thriving club in nearly every community across Canada are still alive. Even fewer remain an active part of the Legion.

The minor hockey season has just kicked-off, but for the Yorkton UCT Bantam AA Terriers team they've already won something that should have them all on TV by Saturday night during the broadcast of Hockey Night in Canada.

Sacred Heart was the site of the Saskatchewan High Schools Athletic Association (SHSAA) Conference playoffs in the 4A division. Games were played all day on Saturday, including Melville, Esterhazy, Kamsack and the SHHS Lady Saints.
