Yorkton This Week

The 16 & Under Women's Asics Cups #2 volleyball tournament was held on March 26-27 at the Gallagher Centre and the Gloria Hayden Centre. Twenty-five teams from across the province competed in the 16U division.

The City of Yorkton is still working toward where best to establish smaller lots to help facilitate development of what it is terming entry level housing.

With spring quickly approaching, many snowmobilers are taking in the warm weather and heading out for a few last rides. Although the weather is desirable, the increase in temperature also poses a safety concern around ice.

The new Yorkton Ball Hockey League, a member league of the Saskatchewan Ball Hockey League (SBHL), will be operating in Yorkton for the first time, said SBHL president Dean Crossland.
