The recent woes associated with the installation of new Smart Meters in Saskatchewan has become a political issue in the province.

Dear Editor People often complain about the poor customer service they receive at North Battleford businesses and sometimes I must agree.

The North Battleford RCMP received approximately 30 calls for service between 6 a.m. Wednesday, July 30 and 6 a.m. Thursday, July 31.

The North Battleford Fire Department responded to a fire at Frontier Mall early Wednesday morning. At approximately 5:30 a.m., the NBFD arrived at Frontier Mall to see a fire had started on the roof above Easyhome and Bootlegger.
