Battlefords Lawn Bowling Club hosted a grassroots tournament Aug. 8-10. The first game was played Friday evening. It was just completed when the skies opened and the rain poured.

Summer visits enjoyed

Tillie Linkert spent an enjoyable day with her daughter in Lloydminster. She was planning to spend the long weekend with her family in Loon Lake. Marilyn Stewart was to the Berry Farm at Marshall with the people from Pine Island Lodge.
