North Stars recognize award winners and graduating players at team dinner

The Battlefords North Stars wrapped up their 2013-14 season with a final team dinner Tuesday night at the Civic Centre. Following the dinner, the team handed out the final two awards of the season.

Maidstone Museum members hosted the annual silent auction in conjunction with the Maidstone Chamber of Commerce trade show April 5 and 6 at the Maidstone Arena. The weatherman co-operated and there was a great turnout.

There were just over 20 calls for service placed to Battlefords RCMP between 6 a.m. Tuesday, April 8 and 6 a.m. Wednesday, April 9. Among those calls were six traffic related complaints, two false alarms and two false/nuisance 911 calls.
