Thirty seems to be a routine number of calls dealt with by Battlefords RCMP during weekday 24-hour periods. Between 6 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 19 and 6 a.m. Friday, Feb. 20 the answered just under that many calls, including three alarms.

Senior Crusaders win Howler

The John Paul II Crusaders senior boys basketball team won the Maidstone Husky Howler tournament last weekend. The Crusaders opened the tournament with a 76-46 Friday night win over the Unity Warriors.
