Get well and recovery wishes go out to Robert Greer and Warren Parkinson who recently underwent knee surgery at City Hospital in Saskatoon. Also to Stanley Mills on a recent hip replacement surgery. Their hospital stay was only a few days each.

The Battlefords North Stars snapped a two-game losing streak by beating the Notre Dame Hounds 5-1 Wednesday night at the Civic Centre. It was the first game in over a week for the North Stars.

Mini snow fest a hit with kids of all ages

Maidstone Museum members hosted a mini snow fest Feb. 15. Prior to the day a member brought his Bobcat and cleared the yard in the village and cleaned all the sidewalks. Posters were up in the public school and parents with children were welcome.
