RCMP have named 51-year-old Marlene Florence Cardinal of Maidstone as the pedestrian who died Friday morning on Highway 16 between Waseca and Maidstone.

A pedestrian has died after being hit by a car on Friday morning on Highway 16 between Waseca and Maidstone. According to the RCMP, it appears a woman left a vehicle she was driving and was walking on the highway when she was struck and killed.
