A collision between a semi and an SUV closed the eastbound lanes of Highway 16 about 14 kilometres west of Delmas Tuesday morning. RCMP reported the closure at about 10:20 a.m., advising travellers to expect delays.

The 2014 budget for the City of North Battleford has been officially adopted. Council voted in favour of adopting the budget Monday, and also moved swiftly to pass the amendments to the water and sewer bylaws.

Pernitsky leads AAA Stars to win over Mintos

Alex Pernitsky scored twice and added an assist to lead the Battlefords AAA Stars to a win over the Mintos in Prince Albert Thursday night in SMAAAHL action. The Stars have now won eight straight games. There was no scoring in the first period.
