As long as the wind is not blowing toward the City, the City of North Battleford will be burning the wood pile at the Waste Management Facility today (Thurs. Jan. 23) starting sometime in the morning.

Living Well is a free program held in the Meota Community Complex Monday, Wednesday and Thursday mornings from 9 a.m. to noon. It's a New Year, so plan for a new healthier life by learning how with attendance.

PINEL: Armand (May 5, 1939 - January 17, 2014). It is with much sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved father, grandfather and great grandfather, Armand Pinel.

Dear Editor A white piece of paper, hanging on the bulletin board in the Neilburg post office lobby, caught my eye.

The first council meeting of 2014 was held Jan. 13 in the boardroom of the Village of Neilburg/RM of Hillsdale office. Present were Mayor Ernie Ducherer, administrator Janet Black and councillors Greg Bowes, Mike Fouhse and Susanne McDuff.

The Battleford Beaver Blues earned three out of a possible four points last week in SPHL action. Kyle Litchenwald played a big part in the Maymont Settler's 7-6 overtime win over the Beaver Blues Saturday night in Battleford.
