CAMERON: KAREN CHRISTINE ELLA - It is with sadness Karen's family announce her passing at 11:00 a.m. Sunday, November 24, 2013 at her home in Saskatoon, SK. Karen was born in North Battleford, SK on June 29, 1945.

MICHAYLUK: Eugene Michayluk passed away on Friday, Nov. 22, 2013 at Battlefords Union Hospital, North Battleford, SK. He was born in Wakaw, SK on June 30, 1926, but grew up in St. Julien, SK. When a teenager, his parents moved to Prince Albert.

Shovels are now in the ground for the long-anticipated pocket housing project in the city of North Battleford. The new affordable housing project will provide transitional housing units at 1322- 103rd St.

CAMPBELL: Hilda May Campbell (nee: lllingworth), Aug 9, 1923 - November 29, 2013. It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of our Mother, formerly of North Battleford, now of Saskatoon.

An RCMP impaired driving enforcement blitz this past Saturday and Sunday resulted in 30 impaired by alcohol criminal charges across the province.

The man accused of second-degree murder in connection to a stabbing death at a hotel in North Battleford Sept. 30 appeared in court Tuesday. Nicholas Giroux appeared in North Battleford Provincial Court by video from Saskatoon Correctional Centre.

CARLSON ~ Helvi Carlson passed away at the Riverside Health Complex, Turtleford, Saskatchewan on Saturday, November 30, 2013 at the age of 90 years.
