The Wilkie Outlaws climbed to the top of the NSRHL last weekend with two wins on the road against the Meadow Lake Stampeders. Wilkie (5-0) opened the weekend with a 3-1 win Saturday night. Kyle Wagner had a goal and an assist for the Outlaws.

Walking trail sex assault accused gets jail time

A man guilty of sexual assault following two attacks on women on the North Battleford walking trail Sept. 28 will remain behind bars for the next 11 months.

Seniors active with cards and bingo

Cards were cancelled Nov. 11 as a number of Maidstone Drop In Centre members wished to attend the service held at the Legion Hall. Bingo was played Nov. 13 with Margaret MacEachern and Jean Hartman doing the calling. Tillie Linkert provided lunch.

The Snow Angels program is off to a strong start in North Battleford, according to city officials. The program is a feel-good recognition program designed to encourage neighbours to help out neighbours by shovelling their sidewalks this winter.
