Latrell Charleson scored the decisive goal in the shootout as the Battlefords North Stars beat the Weyburn Red Wings 2-1 Saturday night. North Stars' goaltender Darren Martin made 36 saves and stopped all three shooters during the shootout.

AAA Sharks drop two games in Swift Current

The Battlefords AAA Sharks travelled to Swift Current last weekend to play two games against the Wildcats in SMFAAAHL action. The Sharks lost both games by the same 4-0 score. Saturday's game saw a scoreless first period between the teams.
