The Wilkie Food Bank has been a staple in the community for approximately 25 years, operating year round. Run now by a committee of three volunteers, it had first started on the basis of food donations.

Stolen vehicle damaged by fire

North Battleford Fire Department responded to a report of a vehicle fire at the rear of 2214 Douglas Avenue at about 12:30 a.m. Tuesday. RCMP report the vehicle had been reported stolen from Meadow Lake.
