Dear Editor When we cut jobs, are we cutting our own throats? Jobs are our livelihoods. They give us life. In exchange for our time and energy, we earn income to meet our physical needs and we earn self-respect to fulfill our psychological needs.

Saskatchewan currently has the highest rates of HIV in Canada, about two and a half time times the national average. There have been 1,000 new positive diagnoses in the last five years.

Nicole Burns has been living with HIV and Hepatitis C since June 19, 2009. Her test results were the hardest things she had ever had to hear, but she has been able to overcome her diagnosis and has started speaking out about her story.
