VARGO - It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of John Vargo, late of Glaslyn, SK on October 2, 2012 at the age of 82 years. John was born on January 15, 1930 at Saskatoon, SK.

The Battlefords North Stars ended their 12-day break with three games in three nights. That is a long break for any hockey player, but for the newest North Star it was even longer.
