With harvest in full swing, bare fields are gradually appearing. Most crops have been or are being swathed. Let's hope the weather continues to be favourable for the harvest operations. Gardens are also being cleared now they are dry enough.

Dear Editor I'm very tired of high gas prices. How about you? Let's get together and try to do something about it. The gas companies are gouging us. This is illegall so let's all phone our MPs, because we are being taken advantage of.

DAVIES: Alwyn "Bubbles" Davies of Glaslyn, passed away August 18, 2012 at the Battleford's Union Hospital. Alwyn was born in Medstead on November 21, 1924; she was 87 years of age.
