Dear Editor In a country as affluent as Canada, hunger is unacceptable. Yet, close to 900,000 Canadians will visit a food bank for assistance this month alone. Of those, 3 per cent are children or youth.

Edda Burber is in a difficult spot. The stunningly gorgeous blonde just appeared on the cover of a magazine. She has an endorsement deal for a lingerie and swimwear company. Her main gig is as a ballerina in New York.

When I sit here writing these articles, I just have to turn my head to look through a window which gives me a panoramic view of the countryside around here.
