There were flowers back in Maidstone just in time for Valentine's Day. Desirae Blanchette purchased the former flower and gift shop on Main Street in September and spent four months working hard to completely renovate the building.

It was a heavy weekend of archery just north of North Battleford for a large number of participants. The Battle River Archers held a 3D indoor shoot Feb. 4 and 5. There was a great turnout of 244 shooters for the event.
