Band holds fundraiser for the Battleford United Church

The Keller Family Band is playing for a fundraiser for the Battleford United Church Dec. 2 from 7 to 9 p.m. The band, which has previously played at the Carlton Trail Jamboree, is made up of Colin Keller, his wife, and their five children.

Today is the day all the Christmas displays and decorations should begin. I am a big fan of Christmas but dislike the hype that starts in October. I long for the 'good ole days' when Christmas was a December event.

Thursday Basketball Result

Thursday marked the beginning of the largest high school basketball tournament in Saskatchewan, the Bowlt Classic Tournament. The North Battleford Comprehensive High School senior boys team faced Bedford Road at Bethlehem and won 65-46.
