Cars burglarized

Several vehicles were broken into in Wilkie in the early morning hours of July 22, according to Unity/Wilkie/Macklin RCMP. The break ins were on 2nd Street West and 3rd Street West.

The celebrations and the glory years may have passed for some athletes from the Battlefords, but June 18 those memories were revisited for four football players.

Driving away with a drive shaft

Sometime between May 26 and 31, a drive shaft was stolen from a 1978 Ford Bronco truck on the 200 block of 28th Street in Battleford. Over night July 9, a church on the 300 block of 30th Street Battleford was vandalized.

Inspiration Tana Silverland is cycling across Canada on a two and half year journey to raise awareness for the SOS Children's Villages organization. Silverland arrived in North Battleford Thurs.

Three injured

Three people were injured in a single vehicle rollover in the Delmas area early Saturday morning. WPD Ambulance transported the patients to Battlefords Union Hospital.
