Despite losing twice to the Lloydminster Bobcats this past weekend, Kevin Hasselberg and the Battlefords North Stars appear to be on track as far as being ready to start the SJHL season.

The Huskies remain the only team undefeated in the North Battleford Touch Football League after winning 18-13 over the Gophers.

A truck camper stored in a pasture is toast after being destroyed by a fire that spread to surrounding grass Thursday just north of the city. North Battleford Fire and Emergency services responded to the call of a vehicle on fire at 3:22 p.m.
