Attempted abduction investigated

Unity RCMP are investigating a report of an attempted abduction that was reported in Macklin on the evening of May 28. RCMP say z nine-year-old girl out walking her dog reported she was grabbed by an unknown adult man wearing a mask.

The weather seems to be helping out the spring seeding and garden causes. This weekend the ball diamond hosted the 17th annual Miners slo-pitch. Weather held out for a change. Sixteen teams participated for a $2,400 cash payout.
