The North Stars were knocked out of the playoffs and shutout from he SJHL awards due to some huge seasons from some of the top players across the SJHL. The SJHL Player of the Year and top scorer honour went to Travis Eggum of the La Ronge Ice Wolves.

Medstead Multiple 4-H Club held general meetings on Nov. 3, Dec. 1, Jan. 12, Feb. 2 and March 2. A Cloverbud meeting was held Nov. 3. The foods group had their first meeting Nov. 11 and a second meeting was held in December.
