2012 RBC Cup in Humboldt a break-even event

Tuesday, January 22 is a day the staff, students and the community of Annaheim will remember for a long while.

They are a young team playing against older players. The Humboldt Collegiate Institute started a Senior Girls' Developmental Basketball team this season.

Life in Humboldt is going to undergo a fundamental change in a few months, and it will never be the same again. Everyone will be affected. Well, everyone who shops for groceries on a regular basis, which is pretty much everyone, I'd venture to say.

Wednesday, January 23, Humboldt fans were treated to an exciting matchup between the top two teams in the SJHL - the hometown Broncos and the Yorkton Terriers. This was the make-up game for the one cancelled December 2.

Despite the public notifications and a letter writing campaign, the attendance at the two Humboldt Relay for Life public meetings, the most recent on January 16, have been exceptionally small.
